Hi iv got a mk1 punto sx so have speakers in the front and back

i just want a straight replacements for these speakers and maybe new wires if it would help increase sound quality?

iv got a sony cd player which is quite good and im not looking to spend much, around 60 quid

can anybody recommend some speakers?

£40-50 on mk1 5 door ELX door cards with speaker pods.

then buy some 6.5" speakers.

i changed the speakers (3.5" and 4") in my sisters punto, and it didnt sound hardly any different or go any louder, so best bet will be get speaker pods and bigger speakers up front, and disconnect your rear ones.

(btw, a scrap yard should just charge you about £10-20 for the door cards)

no, you will need the whole door card.

You could use just the pods....but you'd ned to make modifications to your current doorcards...i.e. makes holes in them to fir the speaker magnets....entire doorcards would be a LOT easier.
Dash speakers are 3.5"...pioneer do a direct replacement....or infinity do one that fits pretty easily as well. I'd recommend the infinity myself...they've always done me proud.
