hiya

i just installed lexus lights onto my punto yesterday, all the other lights work fine apart from the reverse light on the left side (i know it is only on the left side) so i dont have ANY reverse lights at the moment!!

the bulb looks fine, the filament is intact. will change the bulb if people on here think i should try it, its just a hassle to get the lights of and on again lol

let me know what you think and if anyone has had any problems like this!!

i can see the problem... i think you might have accedentaly fitted lexus lights to your lovely car




it does sound like the bulb, whilst you have the light unit off, check there are no dodgy connections

lol, it looks a lot better than the big lumps of red sh*te on it before!

i may change the bulb later on. will have to steal it from my old lights lol

sorted!

replaced the bulb.
reverse light worked.
put the lights back on.
reverse light didnt work.
took lights off.
broke both bracket screws.
fixed back screws.
put light back on.
realised it was wonky and hitting the boot.
took lights off.
put lights on.
and bingo! lights worked!!!

glad you got it sorted, most of the time when somethings wrong its always something stupid

yeah but its the time in between that is most aggravating lol.
