General Radio/CD startup volume

Dear all,

Today I have traded in my 1.2 Mk2 Punto for a 54 plate 1.3 Multijet Mk2b Punto! The car has a Fiat / Blaupunkt RadioC/Cd unit fitted (not sure of the model, but it's the unit that seems to be in most Mk2b Puntos). When I turn the radio on, the volume always defaults to '20'. Does anyone know if it's possible to change the startup volume. I didn't get an audio handbook with the car.

Thanks for that! Bit of a shame about the volume level though! Does anyone know if it's possible to get a manual for one of these radios on the web anywhere, in PDF perhaps?

seems strange you cant change it, i have an after market blaupunkt and you can manually set the start up volume. just check through all the menus. see if anything there

i have now spoken to Blaupunkt, & they say that they are factory set between 20 & 30, & that there is no way to change it.

As for a manual, try Blaupunkt direct, i saw some dowloads there, or Ebay is best place, The Aud & menu button pretty much covers the basics. set it to AF & it will keep updating the radio as you travel.
