Hey everybody.

I have a problem simular to many described on this forum.

My car will operate fine, until it reaches operational temp., it will then allmost surely seize, sometimes it only stutters, sometimes it seizes for a period of 1/2min. to 20min (20 this morning!!!)
During this period, there is NO IGNITION, i've had a timinglight on it, and i've had the plug out and turned over the engine - no spark on any cyllinder.

It sounds like the symptoms for a faulty lambda, but a lambda regulates mixture, dosen't it??? If it is faulty won't it just cut the fuel???
In short CAN A FUEL/FX. LAMBDA PROBLEM CUT THE IGNITION?

It happens when a pull away from a stop light, and when driving steadly?!?

When it comes back it will work as if nothing happend, but sometimes, just before it comes back it has ignition for splitsec. I can then hear the combustion and the engine trying to start.

When not working it sounds totaly dead, no ignition at all?

WHAT IS WRONG????

I hope you guys can help

Thanx a lot

this is a dificult one, is there a spark at the lead, ie take lead off the plug and and see if it sparkes fron the lead you may need to stick a bolt up it and then arc that see if there is a spark.
do i make any sence?

There is no spark, not even a faint one.

Something aparently totally cuts ign., be it a componant failure or maybe the computer cutting power due to fuel/lambda problems, is this possible?????

Has anyone who have had the lambda probe problem, expirenced a lack of ign.??? And had it fixed by changing lambda etc.??
