Timing belt / Cam belt?

This may sound stupid but is the timing belt the same as the cam belt? I.e its the same thing just two names used to describe it?

Re: Timing belt / Cam belt?

Thought so, cheers.

Lastly when doing the timing belt im guessing its best to do the tensioner at the same time? Ive also been told that its worth doing the water pump aswell, is this true?
By the way its a mk2 16v
