Ive been looking into buying some performance spark plugs and leads for my punto sporting 1.2, ive heard that 'magnecor' leads are good and also 'champion' spark plugs are also good. I would like to know if its really worth forking out 60-100pounds just for some plugs and leads, and if anyone else has replaced these.

Mr T

I bought some champion sparks, with double coated copper ends last week, made a little bit of difference, the improvement will only be quite noticable if the sparks your replacing are knackered!

Not bought perfomance HT leads yet, that will also improve response slightly, depends on how many readies you wanna spend!!

£60 is far too much for sparks though, I got the champion sparks for £25 and there top speck for the Punto, they don't make platinum tipped sparks for your car!

Theres only one lane....

Thanks for the help guys.

I checked my current plugs turned out they are pretty decent NGK duel spark things, not much wear to them. Altho i i may go for some magnecor leads.

Mr T

try to use denso platinum spark plugs they cost around 50Euro and lasts for 40000Km.if you want more go for denso iridium but are expensive around 100euro and 20000km
