Styling getting light to number plate!!

i have just smoothed my mk1 boot and moved my number plate down onto the bumper. i didn't know how to get any lights down to it, and i ened up moving the old lights down along with the plastic "thing" tht used 2 light the number plate in the standard position. Has anybody ever donw this before? i think it looks ok, just need the little gap at the top filling with some black silicone. i would put a picture up but i dont know how to ! feedback anyone please??

i kno i could of used those things but i've dun what i sed above ^^^ moved the old one down. and wondered if anybody else has done it aswell. cheers anyway mate
