My smooth boot is due to come soon and i need to figure out a way of getting some lights down to the numberplate on the bumper! i'm just going to screw the number plate on so there wont be an inlet or anything. I thought about extending the wires from the original lights down to the bumper, but then wot? Has anybody done this before or got any ideas how i can do it?? thanks !

Yeah I have done it on my mk1 punto. I got a number plate light for a trailer and spliced into the wires for the back lights, then run the wire down through the bottom of the boot and in behind the back bumper and drilled 2 small holes through the bumper, ran the wires through and connected them to the light. Its not a hard job. See picture

wou got a full front bumper? or have you got a spiltter? it looks ok from tht pic, i jus wanted a few ideas what to do with my front bumper.

Yeah have a full front bumper. Its the punto beast kit front bumper. Looks like this only in white

just spur a live off rear light, and earth it to any where.
you can get number plate bolt lights that shine out the side not the front from motor world.
you can also get number plates that light up from behind
