Hey just wonded i read the guide on doing this and it says mrk1 has no pins and is painted undernef,
but my mate says his friends tried it and it was pined and needed re painting as in had no paint under the black trim.

wonded if anyone could tell me the truth if you've done it yourself

debaged it yesterday and the punto_s was pined in so i ut it bk on n didnt wanna attempt the black trim lol

I was going to remove my sidestrips but the door has been resprayed from black and they didn't remove the strips (corner cutting)

Mk1 boot and bonnet badges leave holes....side strips and wing badges shouldn't leave holes.

Don't the mark 2 badges fit the same holes though so you can take them off and change them? This would smarten it up a lot. Also the older fiat badges are really easy to colour code.

rub strips on mk1s have no pins, like every 1 else says just follow the guides, ive done mine n they are fine, also the side badges dont have pins but the bootlid and bonnet does, quite big holes for them too. as for people avoiding taking them off or colour coding them instead, i got my bootlid 1s taken off whilst it was in the bodyshop, it cost me £75 to have some rust removed from under the license plate and on the corner of the bootlid and it delocked, wiper removed, badges gone, the plastic bit above the licence plate colour coded and the whole boot resprayed. Worth the money and it wasn't that much really
