im wanting to replace driveshaft oil seal on passenger side of gearbox...

i can easily remove driveshaft from gearbox end, as its bolted into a rotating hub/shaft thingy, not sure the correct name, but...

how do you remove this hub/shaft that goes into the gearbox(diff) its part of the gearbox, not the driveshaft....

someone told me you need a tool to prise it off, what tool would this be? and where would i get one from.

Leaver it out with a screwdriver, it then slides out. Theres a small metal ring that holds it in place, you'll see what a mean when you remove it

are the driveshaft oil seals easy to replace? do they clip in or somethin?

There quite a tight fit, when I removed mine I ended up breaking it to get it out. When you fit the new one remember the old 12,6,9,3 (as in a clock)method to tap it home. When you put the shaft back in make sure you don't catch the spring on the back of the seal else it'll leak.
