Whats the cheapest way to increase the power/ of a fiat punto mk2. i have the bog standard 1.2 litre 8 valve petrol.is there a way or is it not worth it.

what price would i be lookin at for a 16 valve and wot could i get for mine.it's perfect nick.j50000 miles.just had a new headgasket, coils, spark plugs and battery

In malta you could get a 16v engine by trading in your 8v and adding 20 quid probably hehe

the best ways to give them abit more edge is a full powerflow exhaust and also a cold air induction kit its not worth wasting money on anything else as it wont make enough difference and could make your car less reliable

As dave says but to change the manifold you need to add a sports cat.

Also change the cam, either punto 75 (cheapest and least desirable), C&B (I've never used one but they are well known for quality - most expensive) or a reprofiled one.

So far the most we have got from the stock ecu is 81bhp, but with mapping that engine in particular is well in excess of 100bhp.

how much are dyno testing as i have the same car as the person who started has and want to know how many ponys have got lose out of my car lol.oh and how much does the supersprit system add do you think. talking in bhp

Supersprint have their own graphs on their website.

If you have other modifications it could be more or less as they may compliment the exhaust or not.
