I went through a long list of cars I wanted for next summer. With A Bmw Z3 coming top (only one with a 'little' 2.0 straight 6 though, any more is just sill :p)

HOWEVER! I have now said to myself that I may as well get mine in tip top shape first of all. I do love it, I do love 45 mpg and how it handles, so I have put together a list of things, and was looking for feedback on my plans.

Passenger's seat - Its broked, need a new one - £20-40 (Or buckets :p) £100-150

Clutch - An extra 45 bhp and 50 torques takes it toll on a 80k clutch - £250

Suspension - Will fit it myself, cos I can :p £250

Brakes - Will be PM'ing oldskool on payday for drilled/groved fronts and new pads as well. - £200

Exhaust - I want a hidden zorst but with a lot more rumble, also look to remove particle filter (diesel Cat) for more growl. - £300

Tint Rear lights - God give me a spare weekend when I'm not hungover!! - Free (got spray already)

Speakers all round - Sub is Ok for the moment, but coaxials are standard, so an upgrade will be needed there £100

What do you all think of my plans? Any advice on any aspect will also be appreciated.

Cheers all

ice,all i'm saying is i've got a dvd hu and will be selling standard sub, 6x9s and accoustic shelf soon

you do realise that the bm 6pot engines upto 3.5l are all the same block (well at least upto mid nineties 5series I believe, btu I'm no BMW buff), and the MORE displacement, the less the block weighs:D )

what do you want a z3 for anyway?? hairdressers car that one;) Mroadster = much more like it.

as for hidden exhaust, yeah, diesel fumes getting thrown out at 4000rpm on boost isn't a pretty site, what you want is a letter box type exit, but pointing straight down from centre of bumper, hidden, then when you gouge on it, you just leave a dirt trail from one wheel arch to the other:slayer:

That Sir, is a fantasitc idea. I'll have to look into that.

As for the Z3, well its a Bimmer and its a drop top, you know the women will love it! (oh and its the butchest roadster I could get insured on!)
