Hi

Does anyone know if the centre armrest can be dealer fitted on the Grande Punto Sporting 16v.
Picking my car up on the 25th (hopefully) should have ordered it when ordering the car!! Any info would be great.

I know abroad you can order it as an option on the sportings standard interior, but in the UK you have to order the leather interior to get it.

I think its just the case of asking your dealer if it was possible, I wanted the leather interior and the armrest, so i didnt have a problem. It seems strange though that it isnt an option for the standard interior over here.....

It looks like the armrest and mount for it clips or attaches some how onto the part thats already there anyway. The only problem though is that the mount also has the switch for the electronic lumber support on it, so they may not be able to do it.....

Just a case of asking the dealer nicely

Obviously an after market version with deep storage which could be handy pity picture is not of arm rest in car, only problem is colour black would be better, script translates as :

Took 10 mins to fit with a screw driver and 3mm drill

OMG That is a thing of beauty. I now have a reason to do overtime this month. It looks like it also lifts up out of the way does it? How sturdy is it? I once bought a 3rd part armrest for a seat arosa 16v sport and when I lent on it it collapsed! I presume it opens for storage as well. That is a real nice piece of kit. I want one I want one I want one

It lifts up top cover for small storage and whole thing also moves up vertical.
Quite sturdy - obviously its only meant for your arm - you need to be quick as there are only two left on ebay at that price - but i am sure they will have more soon. Make sure the fitting kit is included in the price if you buy one. Takes about 5 days for delivery.

Thanks I gutted as Im skint at the mo but I will check the link at the end of the month to see if they have more as I miss having an armrest and the one you have is a really good looking one. When you get a chance can you post more pics with it open and pushed up. I just like looking at it lol! Ps was it difficult to order as ive noticed the ad is in italian and did they except normal paypal? i ordered a keyring from Germany once and what a palava it was to just pay them!

There's no problem order it from Italy..

Good stuff! A few Saturdays extra work this month will be worth it for a good lookin armrest like that

Front armrest

Evening all,

Was just wondering if there's a front armrest available for the GP. I like the idea of one and i'm also a lazy

I've seen some aftermarket ones for different cars in the past and would suspect that a GP one would fit into the rear cup holder.

i have a brochure from my fiat dealer and it shows a GPS with CLOTH interior with an armrest! I may shout "faulse advertising!"

lol in theory if i don't get red badges on my GPS then i should shout false advertising as the advert on tv has them

I remember Fiatdownunder saying the armrest had to be a factory order because it include electric lumbar adjustment for the front seat(s), or something to that effect. He might have posted up some pics of the armrest, I remember they were of a GP with cloth trim.
