Hi, My son has a Punto Evo 2010 and last night apparently his girlfriend just touched his knob and it fell off! As you can imagine I was in tears! :D

I have had a look around and it is apparent that you cannot get replacement knobs for the heater controls and the consensus is that you have to replace the whole assembly which neither my son nor I would attempt! :(

So my question is, has anyone ever successfully glued one of these back on?

Looking closely at your picture it looks like it’s broken off flush, so gluing is going to be very difficult.

Then you have to wonder why it broke, if these is something making the knob hard to turn or stiff (very difficult to avoid innuendo on this) then it may be the whole unit needs replacing anyway.

:yeahthat:

The knob is a victim here, need to fix the cause. Likely that the flap in the heater casing is getting tight, which would mean removing the heater box to fix it properly. A big job. No idea about Grande, but Panda means whole dash out, which includes doors off.
