Hi all, first time posting so just shout at me if I've posted in the wrong sub.
My GF is having issues with her Punto Evo 2010 1.4L.
The issue:
When the engine in on, it is extremely difficult to put the vehicle into any gear. You need two hands on the gearstick to engage the gear.... Sometimes the engine makes an awful grinding when engaging the gear.
When the engine is off, it's very smooth to engage all the gears, pretty much perfect.
Has anyone else had this issue or could guide me what to check to help diagnose the issue? My inital thoughts are that the clutch is ****ed as gears can be engaged when the engine is off.
I have not checked the clutch fluid levels yet.
