Im starting to thing that my evo has some serious electric problems.
Radio is sometimes working, sometimes it doesnt, I mean the sound isnt coming on, but radio probably funcions normally. Sometimes lowering or switching gears breaks the sound coming from radio.
I have an airbag issue from couple of days ago, its says airbag failure see handbook, and few days ago, siren stopped working and the steering wheel feels odd when you press it, like its empty, like theres no air bag inside. Sometimes it shows me the message while driving fuel cut off and start stop disconnected, and steering wheel and abs light is on, and in that moment gauges and speedometer stops working, and couples of seconds later everthing is back on, just the exclamation point in triangle stays. Next week im taking it to service
 
With so many issues, the fault is probably simple.

There's either a supply problem, or an earth problem. Not individual components failing all together.

Start with the battery. How old is it? A voltage reading after it has sat for a few hours will give an idea of its state, needs to be min 12.5v. A reding while cranking will then give an idea of its ability to provide amps to start the car. Whilst these are not the issues you have, they may give an indication of whether the battery has an internal fault that may cause voltage issues while driving. Any doubt, have a garage do a test on it.

The earth cables on small Fiats have a habit of corroding internally, creating resistance, and breakages. The connections at the battery, gearbox and body need to be clean and tight, but an internal break can be intermittent as the engine flexes. A jump cable from battery to engine can show if the earth cable is an issue.

Main battery feed is usually more durable, but also needs checking.

Whilst there, check the engine mounts, as excess movement can lead to cable failure.

Check under the windscreen, theres a chamber below the wipers that catches rainwater, and should drain, but the drains get blocked. Search for 'duckbill' for more info. If water fills this chamber, it can spill into teh car, often over the body computer, causing all sorts of strange electrical issues, so check the body computer is dry. If wet, best option is to remove it, and immerse it in rice overnight to absorb as much moisture as possible. Water likes to get into things, doesn't come out so easily.

Hopefully those few free checks will sort the issue.

In an other topic the TS wrote former owner had installed a anti-marten device or so, and TS removed it and then got problems with airbag message.
So thats another thing to keep in mind, did martens maybe have eaten cables before?


Running and thinking in all directions is not a good way.
Best stategy in solving your problems:

1] Stick with ONE topic
2]Start with the basics without skipping things like checking the battery status (although it's fairly new).
3] Fromon there next steps as mentioned by me and others.

Yeah I admit that, I'm sorry for acting that way. Im just curious about my problems with my car and I always apriciate anyones reply to my question and problems
 
If youre curious, It was some wire broken under the steering wheel, air bag didnt work, buttons on the wheel too.
And regarding the fuel cut off, it was a problem with airbag center unit.
