Hello I have a 2010 Fiat Punto Evo GP, it has been sitting for a while now and the battery is totally gone, like it won't even charge. While cleaning the car I have accidentally opened the passenger's side door from inside, now as the car is completely dead, (even when I turn the key once no lights come on the dashboard) when I try locking the car from the driver's side door, only the driver's side door gets locked while the passenger's side doors remains open. It seems like there is no way to lock the passenger's side door unless I replace the battery. Is there any way to lock all doors without the battery ? The car is on public road so leaving a door open overnight isn't ideal..

Are you sure there is no key hole?

I have a Grande I disconnect the battery on

It has key locks in both front doors.

Price up a battery from 'Tayna'.. delivered to your door and ready to go :)

Hello thanks a lot for your reply. Unfortunately it only has one key hole, however I was able to lock both doors by using jumping cables through another car, while the battery was connected I managed to lock the door through the remote key, for anyone that might make the same mistake as me.

Hello everyone, thanks a lot for trying to help, I was able to lock both doors by using jumping cables through another car, while the battery was connected I managed to lock the door through the remote key, for anyone that might make the same mistake as me, even if your battery is totally dead and won't hold charge, it will have power while connected to another car battery/ power source, first I tried charging it for 10/15 minutes, removed the cables and hoped it would have enough charge to lock through the remote key, but that didn't work as the battery is gone, then I put the jumping cables back on and tried locking the car through the remote key while they were connected and it worked, so I am assuming that is the only way.

On older models you just pushed the open catch the opposite way than you would to
open it. give that a try.
Hello, please check my latest reply, I have explained in detail how I managed to resolve the issue so it might help others :)
