Hello, I recently purchased a Fiat Punto in January,

and I took my car through the car ash a couple of times and have even cleaned it by hand, and noticed water leaks through the tiny gap at the top of the boot hatch,

there is a rubber seal however I think the water somehow misses the rubber seal and just leaks into the boot.

has anyone had a similar issue, and how can i rectify it, i was thinking to ake or put my own seal into it however that may interrupt the opening and closing of said boot door.

need help.

Have you looked at adjusting the boot by loosening the bolts and trying to get a better fit before tightening them back up ?

Has the car had damage which means the boot doesn’t now seal properly? Might be very difficult to fix if the car or boot is not the right shape
