Hi there everyone, I am new here so bare with me.

I have a 2010 Punto Evo and I am wondering if its possible to upgrade the classic dial AirCon unit with the LCD display system that is found in 2011 and above models. Also what steps would it take to install if so :) ?

Thanks very much in advance

You would need to change a lot, the fan speed in the climate control models is managed by a computer rather than a dumb resistor, the climate model relies on multiple sensors including the sun load sensor that lives on the top of the dash and it’s programmed into the canbus system to be able to use information like coolant temp and exterior temp. So in this instance you probably could not just swap the bits in.

Interestingly in my evo I have dual zone climate control where you can set a different temp in the passenger and drivers seats, that set up in your picture looks like a more basic version with one zone

I thought all UK cars were either:

twisty knob manual

Or

Dual zone digital climate

I hinted at that in post #2
