So I have a 60 plate evo, only bought it back in April BUT due to enjoying playing bass heavy music rather loudly, i have blown both front speakers. It doesn’t sound terrible now but they definitely need replacing. I am considering giving my evo a speaker upgrade (on a bit of a budget) but I honestly can’t decide on what speakers to get... does anyone have any recommendations? I am considering also getting an amp to really give them a boost, so if anyone has any suggestions for an amp too that would be great!
Also, I don’t suppose anyone knows how big the speakers are? In the two front doors?

Music is very personal think, what one person thinks sounds awesome on a set of speakers can sound terrible to someone else.

This is why people spend thousands of pounds on a set of speakers.

You're far better off working out what budget you actually want to spend then go to some car audio shops to see what you like.

If you don't want to do this or don't have the budget for that sort of set up, then any old halfords or argos speaker with a recognised brand would probably do what you want.

There is no point putting huge amounts of money into any set up if you still have the original head unit, and there is little point putting an amp on a set of cheap speakers.

You would be better off putting your money into a subwoofer that can provide a proper bass otherwise you're just going to over work and blow up another set of speakers.
