Technical Rough idle

Just been to local garage again they had a look and listen and said it isn't that bad which in truth it isn't as it doesn't effect anything other then the idle they said it shluld be fine to run and that. Ill probably change sparks anyways and that. Obviously ill stay posted for any deterioration or faults.

Thats nice to get an opinion at least that might help you feel a little better about things

When..how far.. was its last decent journey?

At 93k.. there will be some wear.. oily blowby on that sensor

But motors can run for 10's of thousands of miles doing that..
In itself not a disaster :)

Totally agree, I should have said map sensor quite oily but that is normal.
Oil vapour/gases from crankcase are directed through inlet manifold to be burned .

Keep driving.

Great news you have an easy fix , thanks for up date.
If there is enough length in the hose you can just cut a bit off the end of the hose and that will probably stop the leak with a new hose clamp.
Be careful pulling hose off plastic pipe so as not to snap the plastic pipe.
Cut or lever the original hose clamp off then push the hose further on to plastic pipe while twisting , once you get it moving you will be able to pull it off.
