2011 Punto Evo, 1.2 engine, Petrol, manual gearbox

Have a engine warning light which throws up code P1220 on my scanner

Looks like it says throttle position[signal implausible]

Is this the sensor which is on the pedal, or is it the throttle body on the carb?

Any help appreciated, local garage said £700 just for the part which seemed lik bull**** to me

Throttle position sensor is usually on the throttle body, not the pedals.

£700 would be the price for a maseriti rather than a fiat

You dont need them to supply and fit
