Hello Fiat fellows,

The Punto surprised me today :( something is leaking towards the inside of the car on a very sneaky way.

Detected humidity on the window side of a rear seat few weeks ago and simply thought the cause was that someone forgot the window open when it was raining. I coulnd't remember exactly when but didn't exclude the option.
To accelerate this drying I began to drive with the airco on and at a higher temperature -> and the seat seemed to be drier. problem solved! nope not really.

Today I looked carefully and it was not only much wetter but also starting to get a different color... decided to lift the seats when I began to realise everything was wet!

I have no clue at the moment where these liters of water are coming from. Any ideas??
maybe the craked foil under the seats?
Any help is highly appreciated. tks

Davren is right that red wire shouldn’t be there. Someone has had an amplifier in the boot at some stage and may have drilled a hole into the cabin from the engine bay also if they have screwed things down in the boot there may be holes in the boot floor

thanks for the replies everyone!

No sun-roof in this one. I'm quite sure the moist isn't coming from above as the interior is super clean, no traces of humidity. Here we can also exclude an antenna leak.

The red wire is for the trailer connections, pics below.

in the meantime..
- installed a heater (with a thermostat to 25C) and a dehumidifier inside of the car
- keep disassembling panels and finding wet spots.
- the fabric insulation is now drying in the living room, causing a mess ofc

I am inclined to think that some rubber sealant close to the left wheel arch is leaking. I see no rust at all, unbelievable! I guess the "leak" isn't old.

the plan is get everything dry and investigate wheres the naughtly little drop coming from.

Unrelated question: how can I setup my android to receive notifications and participate easier on this forum? any ideas/directions are welcome.
Again tks a lot!

OK guys it wasn't so complicated.

My fault in here, when replacing the brake lights I didn't stuff the wires properly and they remained in the way of the sealing surface, breaking the sealing function. So yeah guys be careful when placing stuff back on after disassembling :)
Tks everyone for the help [emoji106][emoji373]
