I'm new to driving and owning a car so am not really sure about this. During a recent trip on the motorway, the uphills caused the cars revs to drop from 3000 to 2000 and the speed dropped too despite my attempts to give the car more gas and keep it going.


It's a 1.4L 8v petrol, 77bhp 5dr evo gp from 2011.

Quite a heavy car for the 77hp engine, also depends on how steep the hills are, but essential the way to over come this is to change down a gear.
