Hi guys 61 plate punto evo, when on the motorway above 60 engine management light flashed on along with amber warning triangle on dash and also comes up on screen stop start unavailable (not that i need it doing 60+) but after 5 mins engine management light goes off and warning triangle stays on, once off the motorway and back on back roads stop start doesn't work but once engine switched off and back on all goes away until i go above 60 again.
No codes found when plugged into code reader anyone had anything like this before? TIA

Engine code reader..?

Probably not the camtiming problem..

Almost sounds like an ABS .. wheel speed sensor issue.

So you need a product like Multiecuscan

Have a read of the FAQs..and yellow section at top of Hrande Punto section.. almost identical cars ;)

Idea: note the engine revs lights come in at..
On a slower road.. do same revs in 4th.. instead of 5th

If it comes on at lower wheel speed..it is engine PRM issue.

If 60 mph is needed.. its an ABS input problem.

Sometimes a misfire will cause a warning but not fully log a code, either that or the code stored is not one your ecu reader can read.

Well worth getting it properly diagnosed, Fiat MultiEcuScan is free to down load and play with and only £50 to unlock the full version which is what you would pay any garage to plug it in for you.
