Technical Can I use a cruise control stalk from a scrap car?

I need to replace my lights control stalk which means replacing the whole switch assembly. I noticed that my car had a cruise control stalk aswell so bought a matching part but now I think the car has the GP trim level which shouldn't have the CC stalk. Perhaps the previous owner had installed the wrong part?


If I installed this part, do you think it will be compatible enough to have working lights, indicators and wipers? I'm not expecting the cruise control to work, and am not really interested in it either.

Did the cruise control work before ?

Turn the cruise control on by twisting the end of the knob and this should put a green light on the dash to say the cruise is active.

Sorry to rob your post but i have a cruise control unit on my car that i have installed i have activated it on the multiecuscan but its still not working any idea why ?

I replaced my lights control stalk (2 levers) with cruise stalk assembly (3 levers). So lights and wipers DO work with both.

To get cruise work, I had to lead one wire from stalk to board computer, and activate it using multiecuscan.

There are instructions how to do on Grande Punto area. Maybe previous owner tried that, but failed...?

My car is Evo Dynamic 1.4, 8v, 2010.
