Punto Evo 2010, 5 door, 1.4l petrol, dualogic. In UK.

Sounds like I have some standard dualogic issues but my garage can't work it out even though they did replace some faulty parts. Brief history:

Car couldn't get into gear, called RAC who got error codes and ran diagnostic gear changing test. Car could then get into gear but had warnings light and "transmission fault" error on dash. Error codes:
DTC: P1742, gear selection sensor
DTC: P1810, Clutch system fault

Garage determined oil leak at a potentiometer and faulty clutch speed sensor. Replaced "gearbox hydraulic actuator oil" and both components. Oil leak fixed but still getting the gear selection sensor error code and constant warning beeps.

Garage had it for another week and couldn't determine what's wrong, and also the car seems to be driving fine. They've taken the various components apart, cleaned them, gone for long test drives etc.

Don't really know what to do now to get this fixed and garage seems flummoxed.

Advice?

Update:
Test drive today. The car is failing to change gears again, it seems the repairs haven't worked. Symptoms:
- Struggles to change from 2 to 3, 3 to 4, 4 to 5. Mostly when accelerating.
- To get it to change gear I need to stop accelerating or even decelerate.
- Says "gear unavailable" when trying to change gears and failing.
- Happens in manual or auto mode.

Really quite desperate. Any guidance would be helpful. Even just a list of things to tell the garage to check. Cheers.

I had the exact same problems and they did the same thing!!!! But still having issues. Like changin from 2 to 3 in auto and when in manual it is a bit jerky and sometimes louder to change gears. The car is only a 11 plate punto evo and still below 40k but i got a feeling its on its last legs for the transmission so after more then a grand spent on it in 18 months im gettin rid. The garage cnt find nothing more either. So i CANNOT WAIT TO GET RID OF THIS **** and no more automated manual gearboxes for me

I have a 2006 punto with only 18k on the autobox has had issues with code P07153 clutch disk speed, we have just changed the speed sensor genuine from fiat £120 lasted 3 weeks fault is back again same code and transmission fault comes up when car is changing gear, had new clutch just before xmas, we took the speed sensor out checked it looked ok put in back in and have done 50 miles with no issues, but im sure it will be back to haunt me. anyone had same problem !
