I just bought 2 new wing mirrors and went to replace them, but trying to do it quickly I took both mirrors off and unplugged them, and now I can remember if the red wire goes at the top or the black wire does [emoji854] anyone know?

This is just the wing mirror glass, not the whole unit. There’s a red and black cable that plugs into the back of the glass that heats up the mirror.

Ive got it, red at the top, black at the bottom. Just seen a guide in one of the other cars and im assuming itll be the same for me.

As it’s a simple heating element, it’s not going to matter which way round you put them, as long as it works it’s plugged in correctly. ����

I suspect its just a case of
'Flow and return'

But worth trying to follow the original scheme.

£15 for a pair of heated mirrors, what a bargain (had to return one as the backing plate was glued on too high [emoji849]). The old ones were scratched all over which looked awful.

I should check to see If mine are/should be heated, I didn't notice over winter but its the Sporting range topping model so I suspect they are.

weather or not the glass is though I need to investigate.
