Good afternoon everyone,

So tomorrow I will become an owner of a 2010 (60 Plate) Fiat Punto Evo 1.2 Active. 2nd hand, but with low mileage (49,500) at what I think is a reasonable price (£2,950)

Nice looking little car, smaller than the Mondeo 2ltr & Picasso 1.8ltr I've had over the last couple of years, but due to these dying on me ( :bang: ) and me really needing a motor for work (and life) I've taken a punt on a more expensive 2nd hand purchase.

The MPG is more appropriate and the tax/insurance much more affordable than I've been surviving with.

Does anyone have any hints and tips about things to look out for with this car/model? Is there anything that would stand out as something to keep a keen eye on? I've seen that the engine in this looks much for workable, loads of space around the engine bay.

I look forward to having some good fun with this little car and hope to have some funny banter on these forums.

Chao for now! :slayer:

HI And welcome to FF :)

The EVO is basically still a grande.. so look at the YELLOW stuff at top of GRANDE section.

Favourites are heater wiring. Rear lamps.. and window winders.

What fuel was the picasso?

The 1.2 fiat FIRE engine is pretty tough.

Keep a close eye on fluid levels for a few weeks though ;)
