Hello there, ive been having some troubles with the gearbox
1. In cold weather it doesn't function properly. Whenever the engine is cold, it takes about 15 minutes to actually heat up even though the dashboard temperature signal rises up to the middle. If i start the car and drive right away it never gets to the 2nd gear, it automatically reverts back to N. So i have to pull over and readjust the gear to be able to drive again.
2. Nowadays regardless of the weather, when i try to Reverse it makes a very strange sound (like the sound of a disc burning or something) and the car doesn't move (as if its on N). Also once i start the car, i try shifting from N to the 1st gear, it makes a strange ticking sound and takes a lot of time to process and moves from N to 2nd gear right away. I try re shifting the gear but, no response whatsoever, gets stuck at 2nd gear
Does anyone please know what is the Problem? Ive already drove it to a mechanic and he said he doesn't know whats wrong with it and he has to wait for a gearbox specialist to be able to tell what's really wrong.
Help!
