Hello,
I have this weird sound coming from the front of my Fiat Punto Evo Sporting edition. It happens just after taking my foot off the accelerator and sounds like a hissing noise (see video). My friend suggested it could be the recirculation value or the turbo. It's been going on for 3 years now and hasn't effected any performance or anything, just frustrating to listen to when the windows are down.
I've taken it to a few different garages to see if they can help and they haven't been able to given me an answer. One garage told me this is how the multijet engines are supposed to sound. I struggle to believe this though and am determined to find an answer. Going to another garage in the morning and am going to mention it but not sure what to ask them to look for.
