I have asked this question before but no one seems to know - I need to change the front lh indicator in thr bumper - how is this done?
there must be someone in whole of fiat forum who knows how to do this!
fiat puntoevo 2010

According to Mr Haynes the Evo and Punto 2012 0nward have an access cover in the wheel arch held in place by 2 screws. Having removed the cover (it may be easier to remove the wheel for access although the manual says to just turn the wheel full lock) the bulb holder is rotated anticlockwise to remove it from the back of the unit. The bulb is then withdrawn from the holder in the usual way by pushing slightly in and rotating it anticlockwise.

We haven't had to do one on my boy's Punto yet but it looks quite straight forward. Check out the bulb some of those yellow bulbs have the locating pins on either side of the cap but others (most in fact) have the locating pins offset - you'll see what I mean when you look.

The little flap in the wheel arch is very small and the screws will probably rusted tight like mine are.

Best option is to lean on your back and reach under front bumper, and change it there for the passenger side. Driver side is just a case of opening the bonnet and reaching in, plenty of space [emoji1360]

As for actually replacing the unit, I’m sure it’s just a case of unplugging and unscrewing he indicator unit, and then replacing it with a new one

The Op. Didnt mention what engine..

Maybe kit in the way depending on variant..

Normy

Did it look like you could remove the unit from RHS quite easily.. just screwed to bumper..?

I’m pretty sure it’s just a case of unscrewing and refitting the new unit. Can’t remember now as it was a few weeks ago I had the front bumper off mine.

And yes you’re right, it’s model dependant. Mines a 1.4 8v petrol so if the same just don’t bother with the flaps [emoji1360]
