Hi,

Car: 2010 punto evo. Manual, petrol, 150000Km

Since last few days I am getting this strange sound only when accelerating the car and in motion.
1) no sound when stationary and throttled
2) no sound when in motion and clutch pressed
3) no sound when in motion and clutch depressed but no gas
4) sometimes sound when in motion, clutch depressed and throttled.

I also feel a bit loss in power(acceleration) after a bit of driving (acceleration does not feel as quick and it feels car is not reaching previous speeds)

I am attaching a clip with sound that I recorded. The noise starts around 5th second and then repeats a couple of timesCar noise on streamable

Any suggestions what could be wrong?

Ok guys so if it helps anyone.
Got it fixed at the garage today.

There were two issues
1) bolts on a joint in the exhaust system had totally rusted away and the joint was leaking gas.
2) a heat shield on tol of the muffler was broken and making that rattle sound.

The car feels ok right now, though m not sure if the leak in exhaust was what caused loss in acceleration.
