Guys. Just bought a Punto Evo sporting 1.4l turbo have a rattling noise from engine, have been to mechanic were I bought car he's assured me it's nothing like heatshield etc, he said that particular engine can make sounds like rattles whenever im revving static or slowing down you can hear it slightly??!

where are you based ?( we don't need to vote..)

the motors are "unusual" so there can be some strange sounds..
