Hey there

Had some surprise getting my car back from work after 2 weeks...

I had some trouble with wheel buttons not working so I plugged my obd2 to check stuff...

Forgot it, also with usb aux BT converter... 2 weeks later, battery is totally flat.

Couldn't even have the clock displayed more than 1s

Bought a charger but since it's original battery from 2011, might not be a bad idea to change, + start stop stopped working few month after I bought it two years ago...

The question is, what do I need ? 12v 72aH 570A

Do I need an AGM or EFB type ? I can't seem to find anything on mine, it just says : Special flooded stop/start battery

Car is : Punto evo 199 from 2011 1.6D Mjt 120hp

Might make another topic with my wheel button problems, but first I'll fix this battery issue, try to remove airbag alarms that started when we tried to start the car pushing it... but all electronic was messed..

Thanks for help

I don't know what motor parts shops/stores are like in France but you need to get a battery that matches the spec required and the dimensions of the current battery, any stop-start battery tech will do AGM or EFB, just depends on how much you want to pay.

I read that AGM can work instead an EFB, but not the other way around, iirc EFB can't recharge with too much power or smt like that

Price difference is like 40€

I'd like to order online otherwise I saw some AGM at 200€ in stores (Online about 160/175)€.
Checked on some local store, 212€ for the EFB one, but I guess this one is ok for my car then if it only propose this one. BOSCH S4 EFB - S4E08 - 12V (70A/H-650A) (Same one on amazon 127€)

Old battery charged for 12 hours, went to 20% to maybe 70, and back to 50% this morning, while not in car yet... Hope it'll start tomorrow
