Hello I recently purchased a Punto Evo with around 29k miles on the clock (petrol) the car is 7 years old however for the last couple of days I’ve noticed starting it of a morning seems to take a 3 or 4 attempts for the car to fully boot up ( voom voom voom then the engine kicks up) however after the car is warmed up and is ok when turning it off and on its completely fine it starts first go. Would this be down to the colder weather or the damp air? Would this be anything like the battery as the car sounds ok as well

Many thanks

Unlikely to be the battery.

At29k it may be due its 2nd set of spark plugs..

Could just be cold..or damp.. but in my experience the FIAT petrols fire instantly.

Do.. let the humm of the fuel pump finish..before cranking engine.

Let us know if that is better :)
