Hello, I got a Punto evo sporting 1.4 multiair currently at 73000 miles. Anyone know how long the multiair engines last? What maintenance should I do to get the longest life span?

Change oil+ filter at 6-7000mls intervals using the correct specs oil, Euro 5= 5W40 C3, Euro 6= synthetic 0W30 C2.
Change MultiAir filter/strainer at ~30.000mls intervals ( not in the service schedule...!!) part #: 55238665
Change Turbo strainer at ~60.000mls intervals, part #: 71769773, + two gaskets, part#: 71769771. ( also not in the schedule...)
Keep revs low with cold engine, and let engine idle for about 1-2 minutes after a long, hot drive to let the Turbo cool down.

Engine will last forever.

Btw, don't be scared about the "ticking" noise the engine makes with open bonnet, in fact, it's the MultiAir unit doing this, and it's designed so, I'm afraid...

It's a good habbit as well, to open the bonnet after a long, hot drive, while parking, so turbo, MultiAir unit and injectors can cool down a bit more comfortable...
(Modern engines are so well packed in with insulation, heat can't go almost nowhere...)
