Hi all
Have a 2011 1.3 diesel Punto evo, last winter I noticed the car running unevenly before the engine warmed up but it ran ok over summer but I notice it starting again with cold weather, it runs slightly unevenly and just as the engine gets to warmed up temp I get a fumey or exhaust type smell for a few mins then everything seems to work fine, occasionally it gets excessively smokey too
? All help appreciated

Yep comes on with ignition nd goes off after 2-3 seconds

Worth checking there isnt an exhaust leak.. that seals when up to operating temps.

Does it feel smooth when it is restarted HOT..??

Many causes.. how many miles on car??

50km mileage, done test last no leak from exhaust, I was thinking egr or similar ?
