Hi guys, I need some help with my car, sadly I've been T-bone tonight and got pushed into a lamp post I'm fairly certain it's a write off. Which is sad because it was in mint condition. Simply it's a 2011, 68k mile punto evo sporting 1.6 diesel. She had a full service history and new turbo 5k miles ago, what I'm after is a glass's guide valuation as if I was buying from a dealer, if one of you kind folks could help me out that would be great and I'd be forever indebted to you. Parkers puts it at 2.3-4.4k and autotrader can't value it as it's too unique (only 98 of its vintage according to howmanyleft.com) So I'm little lost on how much it's worth, I would of thought/hoped about 4.4-5k due to scarcity and condition. As I need to discuss repairs/renumeration with the insurers I need a good price guide to base my argument on.thanks in advance.

Hi.

SORRY to hear about the incident..sounds like nobody was badly hurt.

You are looking in a very 'niche' section here...VERY quiet.

I would get the mod. To move it to
Lets talk FIAT..or similar

Maybe ring a random used car place for a ballpark quote..they should quote the book..before assessing the actual car.

Cheers for the reply Charlie, fortunatley both of us walked away and no life threatening injuries were caused. I currently have a friend of a friend who knows a guy hopefully sorting it for me (we all know how those situations workout) so if and when that route fails I'll come on back and get it moved to a more prominent location. If it works out I'll post up the valuation for others just in case and God forbid it happens to anyone else soon.

Hi firstly glad no one was hurt, secondly sorry to hear about the accident. I did battle with the insurance company 7 years ago over the demise of my e30 318is M42, started with an offer of next to nothing and using evidence based persuasion ended up getting somewhere near to an agreeable payout, brought the car back and built it all over again. The shape change is in your favour, this one is on eBay with half the mileage but it’s a good start, pre facelift even though you can get one a year younger than yours drops to the 2-3k mark. It would be good to know what category it will be once assessed as if it is repairable and you intend on keeping the vehicle, the money plus the car could put you back to where you where pre accident. Personally I would gather some evidence and be prepared to support rejection of the offers you get in favour of a more realistic figure to replace the car. I have an 09 the same, cruise, privacy glass, 17 inch wheels, dual climate, leather, premium sound, 30 pounds a year to tax, to me priceless must be 20k if it had to be replaced new. I think anything less than 4k would be insulting. I wish you the best of luck. IMG_4847.JPG
