I've own my 2011 pinto evo for 5 years. No major problems with it.
After the last service I had to replace all of my breaks (disc as well as pads). Since than start stop becomes a available; esp and hill holder warning lights come up with all the beeping... when I restart the engine they disappear. Hill holder works absolutely fine even after the light has come up. Had the breaks checked at the garage where they installed the new ones, they can't find any faults.
Any suggestions what could be causing this?

Thank you for the tip.
At the garage at the mo- they are blaming break switch

Here we go:
1. They confirmed it's a break switch
2. My radiator is allegedly leaking
They want £121.20 for break switch and £490.56 for new radiator.
Am sick feeling a bit sick to be honest...
Haven't noticed any overheating or disappearing coolant...

radiator is a condition warning.. take it away, and at least get another couple of quotes.;)

break switch..there will be a labour charge.. and potentially a diagnostic reset in that £121 .. but you could probably still find cheaper..

where are you based..??

What do you mean by condition warning?
£121 is for total job... I have a few places in mind where I will go and shop for a better quote but I doubt I get anything better than £300 and even than I will have to be very careful...had to stand over a mechanic just to make sure he doesn't use wrong break pads...

To put the whole malarkey into a perspective, small things seem to be going wrong but they are beggining to add up to a nasty joblist- the service that started it all highlighted a few "amber" issues: driving belt cracked, slipping; engine cover heat shield came off. I expected some wear and tear but not £2000 worthy. That's how much is the car worth...
