I have a 2011 fiat punto evolution 1.2. I had the timing belt changed 2 weeks ago and since then have had a problem with going into Limp mode.

Car drives great around town etc. I take it over 60 and engine management light comes on and stop start button lights then goes into Limp mode. Turn engine off wait a couple of seconds restart and all is fine.
Plugged diagnostics in and misfire on 2 and 4, changed spark plugs, coil pack and leads, still happens. Put old coil pack and leads on run fine, no problems. Now it's back and frying my brain. Please help!!!!!!:confused::confused:

Hi, and welcome, :)

you've confused me there..

there is a common issue where garages don't reset the engine ECU after a cambelt change,
the fractionally shorter NEW belt, makes the top and bottom belt timing signals out of sync.
take it back , get them to do it correctly.

OK - so what's this talk of coil packs..??
