I have a Fiat Punto Evo that is five years old and has about 67,000 miles on the clock.

The clutch seems a bit noisy, it has only just started making a funny noise. Would it be worth having it replaced before it goes completely, if i have it serviced would they be able to tell if it needs replacing?

I have the feeling it i mentioned about the funny noise they will see me coming!

Many thanks

Hi, :)
noisy.. - in what way,

makes a rattling noise when engine is idling in neutral - then goes quiet when depressing clutch pedal..??

that is the release bearing- at the centre of the clutch..these can keep going in a noisy condition for YEARS,
tens of thousands of miles..!!

TBH - the job of replacing it is the same as a complete clutch ..so fairly major.. @£300 / £500 depending where..
