I bought the mtec drl t20s as recommended on here I've had them in 1 week and 1 has blown already. It's the nearside one where the fuse box is in the way unless you have miniature hands I did have issues pushing it home but in the end it was working lovely.

Two days ago I get check running lights on dash and now I've checked it the bulb is blown. Anyone got any ideas about why or how? Are the mtecs known for this? What should I get as a white alternative? Thanks guys

Hi Carlinabob

I've had the same pair in mine for over a year and they're still going strong.
There's two roots to your problem, the first being that the bulb was faulty & or damaged and the second being your DRL connectors being faulty.
Best way to test this is buy a cheap pair and see if they last as long.

My drls were fine till I changed the bulb. I'm guessing I could of damaged the bulb or connector while fitting it.

I had the same problem. My first set lasted a while until one bulb blew. I had a new set under warranty but these were slightly different. I think it was about a week until one of these blew! I just gave up and put the originals back in and they've been fine.
