I have an abarth punto and it has been stored in the garage for 2 weeks not used and when i have the ignition on the radio wont turn on not even the red no/off switch light but everything else work lights ac etc. but if i take the key out i can turn the radio on and it works but as soon as i turn on the ignition the radio shuts off after 1 second.

Also i have a sub n amp in the boot for about 6 months and i didnt start the car its in a grage still

Are we talking original stereo or aftermarket?

Original one mate. Strange how it was working fine now like this after 2 weeks

have you tried enabling / disabling things through the menu stalk

Okay today tried starting the car and the battery isnt charged enough to start the ccar. Need to get sole jump leads tomorrow. I guess this would bethe reason for this strange problem

was going to say low voltage..,
But assumed you'd been driving and noticed the radio issue,

best to remove the battery and charge it - safer on electronics..,
