My cubby hole next to the sat nav mount is jammed shut

any ideas how to open it without damaging the dash

It's a common fault with them, if its still under warranty take it to the dealers to replace.

As mine is out of warranty I just have to push harder, use my thumb nail & give it a little flick to open. I leave mine open now, the only use I can find for this little hole is to put my hand scanner in as it amplifies the sound a bit.

just in case anyone else has this problem eventually got it open by pressing it hard.

i used some sandpaper to file down the tab about 1-2mm. it now opens 9 times out of 10 with very little force.
