Hi guys, I'm looking at buying a 1.4 multi air 135 evo and just wanted some advise as to the drive, power etc. as a former owner of two grande punto's (1.4 t jet and 1.9 m jet, both sporting) how does an evo compare power wise say to the t jet 120. Any help appreciated. Cheers!

Hi i got bored of the power and fast. The drive is ok. The mpg is way off from what the spec claims. Mines run 170bhp and 220 toque. Thats about all its good for without a turbo change. Tbh if u can aquire one cheap there not bad. Goodluck i hope this helps

Hi Stepheno, the drive is good but compared to my brothers Corsa black edition, the Evo feels a lot more squirmy and less planted. On the power front though it wins hands down, even though it only has 14 more horsepower, it feels a lot more. The way it delivers the power could be a bit smoother but I still love it a year down the line. IMO it's better than my mates leon cupra for the drive

I did a 300 mile round trip a few months ago and got 37 mpg, city driving is around 28 mpg.

I myself have just bought one and absolutely love it. But I did have a 1.2 MK2B before so the car feels extremely powerful compared to it. Turbo kicks in around 2K RPM and if you are being lead footed with it it does throw you back into your seat. The drive is nice and smooth for me, I've driven my friends corsa SRI 1.6T and to me that car felt clunky in comparison to mine.
