I've owned a punto evo from new 10 plate currently 72000 miles and have had numerous issues of misfiring and running like a pig, orange warning lights coming and going. If I park on a slope head down it will run badly misfiring big style unless I stop, let it settle, then start up again.
I have oil getting into one cylinder around the plug. My local mechanic removes the plug cleans it and off we go until it occurs again fiat replaced the multiair system and an injector coil two weeks before the warranty expired (FOC) back in march 2013 but it is back again with a vengence. This fault refuses to go away My motor is now out of warranty if I go back to the main dealer (which I did this morning) they will not replace the multi air unit for free even though I have had this car from new and the fault has not been resolved

next week my local garage is removing the head to inspect the gasket around the plug that keeps oiling up
I did wonder if I had used the wrong oil (fully synthetic 5/40?) or if this is even relevant?
I have read this is a common failure but I wondered if this is a curable fault or should I get shot of the car ASAP
Lastly does anybody know the phone number of Fiat customer services they may also be able to throw some light on my problem
any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
