Technical Reverse lights, only one side?

Hello, hopefully this is a simple one.
I've noticed the reverse light works only on the back left of my Punto. Is this deliberate? Like other fiats, I've noticed the plastic is only clear on one side at the rear.

Checking before I go for the first MOT

oh I think I've found the answer on this forum (can't add url yet)

this is what they say:

it's got 1.

1 for reverse light
1 for fog light

As you said, and as i also believe, its for cost saving purposes.

hell a carrera gt even has 1 reverse light! lol
