3 weeks after getting my bumper repaired, life decided to give me another "f u c k you" this evening.... driveway gate wasn't locked in place with the drop pillar when open and so when driving into my yard the wind swung it closed onto my rear door.. nice dent along the ridge .. lovely little christmas present.

what makes it worse is that I could do nothing about it, and couldnt have predicted it at all

that said, make sure you're gates are locked in place! :slayer:

Sorry to hear what happened.
Once this happens once you will always predict it.

Install a spring or some sort of catch for the gate, to prevent this happening in the future.

Ah no, this isn't good. A good bodyshop should be able to help you out here though and luckily it's only one panel!
I thought the parking dink someone had left in my passenger door was bad, sorry to see this.

yeh I saw the gate swing round in the corner of my eye so lucky slammed the brakes... otherwise it would have gone down the whole door and possibly rear wing etc... its money i didnt want to spend but ah well
