Hi i hoping for some help my 2011 punto evo 1.4 8v has start with and issues im not to happy about. When driving the car 1 gear has become a bit difficult to put into and when placing the car into reverse it grind first time upon place it into gear but once place if i take it back and dont lift the clutch if place but if i lift the clutch the same again it grinds only way i can find to stop this is if i put it into 1 first and then place into reverse and before anyone say it yes i have the clutch down fully ect.

Gears should always select freely, never force it. If it won't go in, lift and then dip the clutch again. Are you pushing the peddle right down?
My parents have the same as yours but 2010 and the gears can be a little notchy sometimes but not too bad. How long have you had the car and is it something that's only recently started?
Only recently started and like 10 months so its going back to the dealer see what they say
